Adequate hydration is a fundamental, yet often underestimated ,element of recovery.
Water – the natural medicine always at your fingertips
Dr. Fereydoon Batmanghelidj – a physician and researcher – became known for his groundbreaking theory that many chronic diseases originate from dehydration. His discoveries surprised the medical world, as he proved that plain water could become a powerful therapeutic tool.
In his clinical practice, he showed that proper hydration contributed to improvement or complete remission of conditions such as:
Asthma
High blood pressure
Stomach and duodenal ulcers
Migraines
Acid reflux
Allergies
Type 2 diabetes
Ulcerative colitis
Carpal tunnel syndrome
Chronic fatigue
Haemorrhoids
and many more.
Water with a pinch of salt – the secret to effective hydration
Dr. Batmanghelidj emphasised that the best hydration results are achieved by adding a pinch of natural rock salt (e.g., Himalayan salt) to every glass of water. The salt helps the body retain water in the cellular space, allowing for deeper and more efficient hydration.
How much water do we need?
There’s a simple rule of thumb:
30 ml of water per kilogram of body weight per day
Example: A person weighing 75 kg should drink:75 × 0.03 L = 2.25 liters of water daily
This is not only simple but also a powerful tool for prevention and healing.
